Ross Bryant | President & CEO
Ross Bryant has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies since April 2021. He was appointed to the board of directors in June 2021.
Ross has more than 25 years of analytical instrumentation experience and a strong track record of growing smaller, life sciences focused technology companies, into global leaders.
Prior to joining Yokogawa Fluid Imaging, Ross was Vice President at Wyatt Technology in Santa Barbara, CA, where he led all commercial operations and a global team committed to advancing the science and understanding of biophysical characterization in the biopharmaceutical industry. He has extensive international experience having spent time living in Tokyo, London and Singapore as part of prior ex-pat assignments.
Ross holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine, an M.S. degree in Material Sciences from Arizona State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Maine. He has co-authored four patents in the areas of analytical chemistry and instrumentation.
Sigrid Kuebler, PhD | Marketing Director
Dr. Sigrid Kuebler joined Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies as Director of Marketing in September 2021.
Sigrid has over 20 years of experience advancing analytical instrumentation at technology companies. For the past 15 years, she has served in various customer-facing roles, most recently as Senior Director of Product Strategy and Director of Customer Service at Wyatt Technology. She has a diverse background in biopharmaceutical and particle applications, marketing, and customer advocacy.
Sigrid obtained her M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Mainz (Germany) with integrated studies at the University of Toronto and her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research. She has co-authored 11 peer-reviewed publications and six patents in the areas of materials discovery and instrumentation.
Darin Fogg, PhD | Global Sales Director
Dr. Darin Fogg joined Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies as Global Sales Director in April 2023.
Darin has accrued more than 15 years of experience in capital equipment sales in the life science industry, serving Academic, Biopharma, and Government research labs. He has held direct selling as well as sales leadership roles within STEMCELL Technologies, Amnis Corporation, and MilliporeSigma. Prior to joining Fluid Imaging Technologies, Darin was Director of North America Sales for imaging and flow cytometry products at Luminex (a DiaSorin company).
Darin earned his Ph.D. in Medical Science, focusing on Cancer Biology, at the University of Calgary. He completed post-doctoral training at the Necker Hospital for Sick Children in Paris, France, studying the origin and functions of cells of the innate immune system. He has co-authored 13 peer-reviewed publications, including two in the journal ‘Science’.
Wilson R Adams, PhD | Director of Engineering & Operations
Wilson Adams joined as Director of Engineering and Operations at Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies in March 2024.
Wilson brings more than a decade of experience in developing advanced microscopy and spectroscopy systems for biomedical research, drug discovery, and surgical guidance applications. His experience at the interface of biological sciences, medicine, optics, and systems engineering provides a strong technical direction for the FlowCam product portfolio development efforts.
Prior to Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies, Wilson served as an optical engineer for FISBA North America’s product development team (formerly Gray Optics), an independent consultant in biomedical optical systems engineering, and a postdoctoral scholar in preclinical behavioral neuropharmacology at the Vanderbilt Center for Addiction Research.
Wilson holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Maine. He is a co-author on more than 12+ peer-reviewed publications, 14+ conference proceedings, and maintains an active presence in the optical research community through public discussions, peer review, professional society involvement, and academic collaborations.
Erin Cunningham | Human Resources Director
Erin Cunningham joined Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies as Director of Human Resources in February 2022.
Erin brings a strong background in Human Resources supporting medium-sized companies in the aerospace and defense industry to her current role.
Prior to joining Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies Erin was a Human Resources Generalist at Fiber Materials Inc. (a Spirit AeroSystems company) in Biddeford, ME. At FMI, Erin served as an HR Business Partner providing HR expertise regarding strategic planning, training and development, and a strong focus on achieving the desired workplace culture while prioritizing the support of employees.
Erin holds a B.A. in Psychology from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire.
As a member of Yokogawa Fluid Imaging's executive team, Erin plays an instrumental role in leading the company to continued success.
David Janse | CFO
David Janse has been working in Finance and Operations Management for more than 25 years, and joined Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies as Director of Finance in March 2021.
Prior to joining Yokogawa Fluid Imaging, David was in management consulting at RGP in Irvine, California where he supported companies in financial planning and integration management, and at Dolby Laboratories in San Francisco as a Director of Finance. His extensive international work experience includes management positions in Amsterdam and London.
David holds a degree in Economics from the Hogere Economische School in Alkmaar, The Netherlands, and an M.B.A. from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Hiroyuki Sangu | Corporate Director
Hiroyuki Sangu serves as a Corporate Director of Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies and was appointed to the board of directors in April 2020. He provides a broad range of leadership support across the Yokogawa Group.
Hiroyuki has over 25 years of experience developing and marketing microscopes and imaging systems for life sciences and pharmaceutical-related applications. He was a major contributor and early advocate for the eventual acquisition of Fluid Imaging Technologies by Yokogawa in April 2020.
Prior to joining Yokogawa Fluid Imaging, Hiroyuki was at Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Kanazawa, Japan where he held leadership roles in several departments while focusing on the product planning and development of Yokogawa's confocal microscope and several other highly-regarded drug development instruments. He has filed approximately 100 microscope-related patent applications in his work with Yokogawa.
Hiroyuki holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tokyo and an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tokyo.
