Imaging Particle Analysis - Biofuels Applications

The FlowCAM® is being used in several different areas of biofuels research:

The high rate of image acquisition and pattern recognition via the VisualSpreadsheet© software makes the FlowCAM capable of analyzing much larger sample populations in a shorter amount of time than through typical manual microscopy methods (such as a hemocytometer). Having these larger sample populations yields higher statistical significance in the data for increased confidence in accuracy and repeatability.
